Meet Psychologist Bridie Ellen Stewart

  • Bridie is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with experience working across private practice, government, and public health settings.

    Since 2023, she has provided evidence-based therapy and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of mental health and developmental concerns at the Young Minds Health and Development Network.

    In addition to her clinical work, Bridie has experience delivering assessment, intervention, and psychoeducation programs to assist clients in reducing or quitting smoking and vaping. She is skilled in maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with clients and professionals, and upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of practice.

    Bridie has also contributed to psychological research investigating implicit attitudes towards minority groups.

  • Bridie has completed her training to become a Registered Psychologist and is committed to continuous learning and professional growth.

    She draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Guided by a strong ethical framework and a client-centred approach, Bridie is dedicated to helping individuals achieve meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
