Adela Kiveric is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist, Board-Approved Supervisor, and Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner. She balances her clinical work with providing supervision to emerging and experienced psychologists, as well as running the role of Chair of the AACBT Queensland branch.
Over the last decade, she has worked in settings including various private practices, educational spaces, government, and not-for-profit organisations (including with child-safety clients and individuals living with a disability).
-
Adela utilises individualised evidence-based approaches from the following models:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR),
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),
Solution Focused Therapy,
Dialectical Behavioural therapy (DBT),
Cognitive Therapy for PTSD (CT-PTSD)
Ego-State Therapy (EST)
She completed her Bachelor of Psychological Science with Honours at the University of Queensland in 2013. Since then, she gained her general registration with AHPRA and has attended numerous trainings, conferences, and workshops to continue developing her skills in psychology, supervision, and leadership.
-
Outside of the therapy room, Adela enjoys cooking and eating good food, painting, and spending time out in nature with her loved ones. As you will be able to see, Adela loves her plants and enjoys nurturing and propagating them (although not always well!).
If you’re wondering where her last name (and accent) come from, it’s Bosnia, a small but mighty European country. After a chaotic start to life due to a war in the 90’s, Adela moved to Australia in the early 2000s to start her new life here. She continues to speak the native Bosnian language and visits the country regularly. Despite the challenges faced, Adela uses her personal experience to further empathise with and show compassion to her clients.

Bridie is an AHPRA Registered Psychologist with experience working across private practice, government, and public health settings.
Since the beginning of her career, she has provided evidence-based therapy and psychological assessments for clients presenting with a range of emotional, behavioural and mental health concerns.
She is deeply committed to supporting clients to enhance their quality of life and gain a clearer understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Her goal is to empower individuals with the insight and practical tools they need to create lasting, positive change.
-
She draws on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is guided by a strong ethical framework and she is dedicated to tailoring her approach to each client’s individual needs.
Bridie has completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and her Master of Psychology. Since then, she has gained her general registration with AHPRA and has attended numerous professional development trainings, conferences and workshops to continue her learning and professional growth.
-
When she is not in the therapy room, you can usually find Bridie outdoors with loved ones or happily lost in something creative. She’s never met an art or craft she didn’t love—whether it’s painting, crocheting, printmaking or starting a brand-new hobby, she definitely doesn’t need (because there are already so many…).

The aim of the first session is to get to know you and understand your therapy goals.
During the first session, your therapist will discuss your rights and limitations of therapy.
Depending on your presenting problems, they might ask about the history of your challenges, your current circumstances, your relationships, your lifestyle, and, yes, even your childhood. It is important to remember that these are your sessions and it is important that you feel comfortable and heard. If there is anything you do not wish to discuss, just let your therapist know “Not today”.
